Do you believe in a literal bodily resurrection?

Erika shares her beliefs on what we have to look forward to when we talk about a resurrection.

Let me ask you a question - do you believe in a literal bodily resurrection?

Do you believe that one day God will open up the graves of those who have gone before and bring them back to life? Remaking them with actual physical bodies, but this time bodies that don't get old, sick, or tired. Bodies that don't wear out and won't die again. Bodies that will last for all eternity. Bodies that will be combined with our souls in a perfect combination of the seen and the unseen, the spiritual and the natural. Bodies that will perfectly represent who God created us to be. Bodies that will only and always seek to do the will of the King. Do you actually believe this?

I do.

I do believe that one day the dead will come back to life, some to eternal life and others to eternal death.

I do believe that God is in the process of making for Himself a new creation made up of Jew and Gentile.

I do believe that every single thing God promised in His Word will one day come true.

I do believe that I will see my loved ones who have gone before and not only see them, but be able to hug, hold, and touch them. They will be as physically real as the next person.

Paul was mocked for holding this view (Acts 17:32), so if you think I'm crazy then I'm in good company.

I believe in the resurrection of the dead. In fact, I'm living my life based on it. I'm pinning my hopes and dreams on it.
